There are various types of non-woven fabrics, which are comfortable, environmentally friendly, clean and hygienic. From the perspective of hydrophilicity, they can be divided into water-repellent non-woven fabrics and hydrophilic non-woven fabrics. What is the difference between them?
1. Water-repellent non-woven fabrics are made of water-repellent materials, while hydrophilic non-woven fabrics are made of hydrophilic materials.
2. Water-repellent non-woven fabrics contain mainly water-repellent substances such as water-repellent bases or water-repellent materials, so they do not get wet. Hydrophilic non-woven fabrics may also be used in large quantities with capillary fibers, as the fibers also exhibit water-absorbing properties. It has a good hydrophilic effect, does not back-bleed and can be hydrophilized several times.
3. The water cannot seep through the water-repellent non-woven fabrics and is not damp when it gets wet, while the hydrophilic non-woven fabrics can seep through the water and is damp when it gets wet.
The difference between water-repellent non-woven fabrics and hydrophilic non-woven fabrics is simply that one does not absorb water and the other absorbs water. The specific choice of non-woven fabric depends on the application.
